CEMT and a member Society in turn will jointly organise an annual Symposium, presenting current research and development in maritime technology in Europe. Papers for the Symposiumwill be invited by member societies. The Symposium will be hybrid, and the language will be English. Online attendance will be free for all members of CEMT member societies.
The 2026 Annual Conference will be organised jointly by CEMT and the Association Technique Maritime et Aeronautique (ATMA)

This Conference will bring together leading researchers, engineers, and industry professionals from around Europe to share cutting-edge advancements and innovative industrial solutions in maritime engineering. This conference will serve as an important platform for presenting high-quality research results, discussing industrial emerging trends, especially in the rapidly evolving fields of oceanographic exploration, shipping decarbonization, unmanned vehicles and applications of AI to maritime activities. The Conference Proceedings will be published in the ATMA Annual Report, and a digital version made available to all participants.
