ORGANISATION
Professional institutions and learned societies in the field of maritime technology in countries that are member states, or who have applied to become member states of the European Union, are eligible to become members of CEMT.
The Confederation is governed by a Council of representatives of each constituent society. The Chairman of the Council is a senior member of a constituent society, elected by the Council, and serves for a period of two years. The Council meets twice a year, and is served by a permanent Secretary.
CEMT is registered as an independent foundation in the Netherlands, and is funded solely by its members.
